Other Neku has Imagination, which means that he could potentially alter reality as we know it, but he wouldn't exactly do that (and likely can't). "Can't" doesn't mean the same thing here, as Neku is undoubtedly a reality warper in some way, but not in an active way. His Imagination is interesting because it means he can be drastically altered by his surroundings, as well, and a desire to save them. Basically, though, an understanding of this is limited to TWEWY characters, but the ability to sense that Neku is special is there for anyone.
Of course, Aather is Aather, so this is suppressed.
